Welcome to the Graduate School !

Greetings from Southern Illinois University Carbondale (SIUC)!  You are now a member of a select group of people investing in themselves through graduate education.  You will spend the next few years challenged and fulfilled as you become immersed in a transformative academic environment.  You will expand knowledge, advance discoveries and make original and substantial contributions to your discipline while being guided by faculty who are leaders in their respective fields. I encourage you to immerse yourself in our diverse community composed of artists, scholars, researchers, and educators.
